We live in such a limited space that I will be doing an all container veggie garden this year. We did attempt it last year and had a fairly good success but this year we are going into it a lil more prepared, plus we have just put up the lil green house, so we are going to attempt to grow things we would not have dared in the past. Like Bell peppers and even corn :)
This is my window garden now.
My Green Bean (this one is in a Cow Pot)
Cucumbers and Zucchinis up front and back by the window are some of my larger tomatoes.
This was a clove of garlic I decided to put in a jar of water and grow :) These shoots are edible also and they have a wonderful flavor.
My salsa garden my mom got me, its Cilantro, basil and chives I think :) Should have labeled them.
Row of my hubbies tomatoes that are growing on our homemade light shelf.
These are a combo of green onions, white onions and yellow onions.
The overflow that found their way into the office window.. Beans, Tomatoes and strawberries.
Another close up of the office green beans.
This ladies and Gents is the Corn... Im very excited to see if it will do anything at all in our short growing season.
GROW ONION IN A JAR
This is what it looked like at the end of April
This is what it looks like today.. BTW the shoots on this is Edible and taste just like a regular green onion, but they are bigger and fatter so you get more for you buck :) but as you can see by the onion I dont think it will grow very long, poor lil thing is just shrinking up.
The most exciting of all
THE GREEN HOUSE.
Its not very big its only 5x6x6.5 but its a start and with our limited space I think it will work out great.
